What if my dog can’t be let off it’s lead?

Not a problem. Photo shoots can be done with your dog on its lead with a collar and we magically remove it later. We cannot remove harnesses.

What happens if my dog won’t sit still?

Don’t worry if your dog is lively and won’t sit still, most don’t! Whilst it is helpful for your dog to have a basic sit/stay capability, it isn’t essential. We have a great deal of patience and have experience with dogs that have varying levels of obedience.

Where will the photo session take place?

Our on location photo sessions can take place out on their favourite walk, in the local woodland or even in your garden.

Can I be in the photo with my pet?

Yes, of course you can. Please ask for details.

Why do I pay a session fee?

The time dedicated to each photography session is much greater than one would initially imagine. The session fee is for the time taken for meetings, telephone and email communications, our travel, the photography session itself, the editing & retouching of your chosen images and a viewing and ordering session. As you can appreciate the hours quickly run into days. This is why we charge a session fee.

What do I need to do on the day?

First of all we want you and your dog to enjoy the photo session. We want to make it fun, especially for your dog. We recommend that you bring along their favourite treats, toy, water etc. just as you would if you were taking them on their favourite walk so that it feels as natural as possible. We find this helps to create the most natural images of your dog.
